Shape the programme

Experiences

Add movement, sound, bodywork, food and south-coast adventures without losing the coherence of your retreat.

Build the experience

Choose experiences because they serve the group, not simply to fill a schedule.

The strongest retreat programmes have contrast: activity and stillness, guided work and open time, inner reflection and a change of scenery. Zenki House helps facilitators select additions that support the purpose and pace of the gathering.

Experiences are coordinated through a local network of practitioners, teachers, musicians, drivers and guides. Availability is confirmed for each retreat, and every addition is included transparently in the proposal.

Possibilities

A programme with many ways to connect.

Yoga and meditation

Private movement and stillness sessions in the open-air shala, adapted to the group.

Sound and music

Gong baths, seven-metal Tibetan bowls, sound healing and live music experiences.

Massage and Watsu

Restorative bodywork and water-based sessions that create space for deeper relaxation.

Surf and coast

Private or group surf sessions, beach time and an introduction to the south-coast rhythm.

Journeys beyond

Excursions to Galle, waterfalls and safari destinations coordinated around available time.

Food and gathering

Themed dinners, colourful shared tables and menus created around the retreat atmosphere.

Our approach

One local team, one coherent programme.

Rather than asking the facilitator to contact multiple suppliers, Zenki House can coordinate the right people and practical details around one agreed plan.

Questions, answered

Good to know before you enquire.

Every retreat is personalised, but these answers cover the questions most groups ask first.

Are all experiences available every day?

Availability depends on the practitioner, season and programme. Preferred experiences are checked before the proposal is finalised.

Can we bring an external practitioner?

Yes. Your own practitioners can be included, and local support can fill any remaining roles.

How much should we add to the schedule?

That depends on the retreat intention. The team can help balance meaningful additions with enough unstructured time.

Are excursions compulsory?

No. A retreat can remain entirely at Zenki House, include one change of scenery, or explore more of the south coast.
