Transformation through connection

About Zenki House

A retreat house born from a simple idea: the right setting and the right care can help people reconnect with what matters.

Why the house exists

Not simply a place to visit. A place where something can shift.

Zenki House grew from Martin’s wish to create a living space for wellbeing, transformation and genuine human connection. The house is intentionally personal: facilitators are welcomed as collaborators and every group is approached as its own experience.

Nature is not decoration here. It shapes the light, sound and pace of the day. Shared practice, meals, water, conversation and quiet time become part of one whole, supported by a team that cares about how the retreat feels as much as how it functions.

What guides us

A simple philosophy, lived through the details.

Nature

Let tropical life, changing light and the sounds of the garden set a slower rhythm.

Presence

Create enough space for people to listen, feel and participate without rushing.

Community

Bring people together through shared practice, food, conversation and everyday moments.

Collaboration

Work beside each facilitator instead of offering a standard venue-only transaction.

Care

Hold practical details personally so the experience remains warm, responsive and human.

Transformation

Aim for guests to leave with a genuine sense that something meaningful has changed.

Our promise

Care for the facilitator as well as the guest.

A well-supported facilitator can give more to the group. That is why Zenki House treats preparation, local knowledge and calm on-site support as part of the retreat itself.

Questions, answered

Good to know before you enquire.

Every retreat is personalised, but these answers cover the questions most groups ask first.

Who is Zenki House for?

Yoga teachers, retreat facilitators, schools, sound healers, coaches, therapists, wellbeing communities and private groups.

Is Zenki House a hotel?

It is better understood as a private retreat house and collaborative venue rather than a conventional hotel.

Who will help us plan?

Martin and the local team guide the proposal, coordinate agreed services and support the group on site.

What makes the experience different?

The combination of an intimate private house, living nature and hands-on local retreat production creates a more personal experience.
